INTRODUCTION TO THE PROFESSION

In visual communication Graphics designers create visual messages such as logos, packaging or even advertising posters. They work with different mediums and apply their sense of aesthetics, always with the aim of better communicating the identity and message of the product on which they are working.
They work in advertising or communication agencies, or directly for the client if they are freelancers, in design studios, publishing houses, newspapers offices or even in companies’ in-house communication departments.

THE AIM

To learn to combine and organise the composite elements of a visual whether this is logotypes, graphic charters, product coverings or packaging, visual identities, pictograms, posters, adverts, POS advertising, models or typographies and understanding the goals of the manager (salesperson, manager or artistic director). To be able to combine text and image to communicate a clear and precise message.

THE FOUNDATION

Educational goal : 
To upgrade students and to give them a solid foundation in areas that will become their production tools and their expertise: typography, typographic rules, layout, infographics, technical constraints, methodology and visual design.

IMPLEMENTATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING

To help students to complete their end of course professional project (which is their passport to employment) by teaching the most advanced techniques for each area in question: strategy, writing, design, graphic design, production and manufacturing techniques. To work under agency conditions.
